We are pleased to offer this lovely 3 bedroom apartment for holiday rental in Ovacik, Fethiye, a peaceful residential holiday resort in the south-west of Turkey.

Located on the hillsides at the foot of Mount Babadag, famous for its tandem paragliding exhibits, enjoying stunning views across the valley and a lovely cool mountain breeze that flows down through the pine trees bringing the sweet smell of pine to your balcony.

Situated on the main Ovacik road with the local dolmus stopping right outside, taking you into the busy harbour town of Fethiye for a stroll along the harbour, or the other way into the ever popular neighbouring resort of Hisaronu or on to the famous beach resort of Oludeniz and the Blue Lagoon.

Local shops and supermarkets are just a couple of minutes walk away for all your grocery needs and five minutes down the road you have one of Ovacik’s newest attractions the ‘Waterworld Aqua Park’ with chutes and slides to suit all ages and a lazy river for the less energetic.

The apartment is settled on a small complex of just 18 three bedroom duplex apartments, set in well-kept gardens with small lawns in front of each ground floor apartments with pretty little flower borders and stone laid pathways leading to the communal pool area, a good sized pool with a large travertine pool terrace with ample space for all residents to enjoy relaxing pool days in the summer, with beautiful views across the valley from its slightly elevated position above the road.

The complex is accessed from a road that runs at the back of the building, having several wrought iron gates set within the stone boundary, with each gateway having a path leading to the apartment entrances.

Featured Apartment Details

The apartment we are offering is a ground floor unit, with its entrance on the ground floor via a steel security door, opening into a small lobby area with a few steps taking you up to the small reception lobby are and a staircase leading you down to the garden level.

Some would say that the apartment is upside down, with the main living area down in the garden level, A very spacious area with a modern fitted kitchen/diner lined with light beech units, granite work surfaces and tiled splash backs, with a small breakfast bar extending from the units which separate the kitchen from the lounge area.

The lounge offers double patio doors opening out to a good sized balcony overlooking the pool with a built in BBQ and ample space for patio furniture for summers of alfresco style dining. Steps from the balcony lead you down to the stone pathway which directs you to the pool area.

The kitchen/diner also gives you access to the first of the three bedrooms, a good sized twin room with access to a French style balcony with stunning views of the local pine clad mountains and the rear gardens. Next to the bedroom is a fully tiled family shower room and next to the bathroom we have a useful storage area that is used as a utility area with a washing machine.

Back up to the lobby on the ground floor off to one side, we have the master double bedroom with a private en-suite facility with a full-length bath and a large private balcony overlooking the pool and the valley. On the other side of the lobby is the third bedroom, another double room with a small French balcony with those gorgeous mountain views, this room has the use of a separate shower room located off the lobby area.
